YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We would like you to be informed about how we collect and handle your personal data, the information given that is capable of identifying you. This includes your name, email address or social media identifiers and phone numbers. Under the GDPR we are ‘data controllers’ of your information.

We are called ‘controllers’ because we make decisions about how your data is used – for example to prepare marketing materials – and we also ‘process’ your data when we carry out basic activities like storing, deleting and changing the information that we hold. We take our obligation to protect the information you give us very seriously, and we always take care when using and processing it.

COLLECTING AND USING YOUR DATA

We collect data from you via two means, one is via the sign up to our newsletter via our websites www.jodievans.co.uk and the other is through you writing your name and e-mail address via a sign-up sheet at classes and workshops with Jodi Evans. In both instances, you opt-in to receive this information. This information is stored on our Squarespace account for which we use to send you information about classes, workshops, courses and retreats via a newsletter. It is not and will not be shared with anyone else.

Our Squarespace account only stores your name and e-mail address it does not store your telephone number or any other information about you. You have the right to opt out at any point using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all newsletters and you also have the right to be forgotten at any point. If you unsubscribe your information will be deleted from the Squarespace account but if you would like to be deleted by other means then please contact us at jodievansyogatherapy@gmail.com
